The efficient working and the durability depend greatly from the load. An insufficient load is the main cause for battery failures.

To load the battery you have to connect it first, the + and next the -, then switch on the charger. After having charged the battery first switch off the charger, disconnect the battery, the - and then the +.
Power of the load: +/- 1/10 of the normal capacity. E.g. for a 40 A battery the initial power of the load = 4A. The first load (slow) is essential. A lower power of the load is always safer.
During periods of non-use proceed to intermediate loads. The tension needs to stay higher than 12,4 V. An extended run down causes sulfutation. For all the batteries, especially those with gel, use regulated chargers with a tension limitation, sometimes called intelligent chargers. (see our range TENDER.)

put the battery in an electronic tester
complete the warranty form
warranty period of 12 month except
- damage due to a choc
- frozen batteries
- incorrect use
